Ben & Melina's Couple Session at the Greenwood Villa in Medford, OR

So this session didn’t go exactly as planned… I kept having problems with my camera bag and was just a little frazzled, the truck I was driving to the session started having problems and making really weird noises. I had to drive about 20 mph to the session and I was still early, but didn’t have time to set up any lighting gear. I ultimately decided not to use lighting gear anyways and just handhold (Holding the camera instead of using a tripod). Ben and Melina were so sweet and understanding about everything! I even dropped my lens on the ground! Luckily it didn’t break, but even if it had, I had back up gear! I always carry a crap ton of gear with me to sessions and weddings alike just in case. You never know when an accident will happen!

Anyways, we put on some super calming music and just relaxed. They were so natural about posing and interacting with each other so it made my job easy. They have been best friends for a long time so that always helps :) I would shoot at The Greenwood Villa again in a heartbeat. The space was so relaxing. I felt like I was in a countryside retreat / bridal getting ready suite (Which yes, The Greenwood Estate does host Weddings!). Such a beautiful opportunity to re-connect and interact with these two lovely humans!
