Wedding Invitation Packages from Basic Invite
Some of my clients have been asking me for recommendations for calligraphers or companies to order their Wedding Invitation Suites through and I came upon this company and had to share!!
Free Wedding Sites
I love that with Basic Invite, you can create a free wedding site that is entirely cohesive and matching to your wedding invitation packages that you send out to your guests. I remember when I was planning my wedding we made a DIY invite suite and haphazardly threw together a decent looking, but not great wedding website through a different company. If I would have known that I could have a cohesive set up between my wedding site, wedding invitation packages, and thank you cards, that would have saved me a lot of “craft time” using a paper cutter until 3 AM in my cluttered kitchen to get my invites out before our mailing deadline.
Their wedding sites are completely customizable with over 180 different colors to choose. You can upload images, all of your wedding details and also a fun map for guests to have directions to your venue. You can also collect your guests addresses on your site which brings me to my next point!
Saving Time and Money with Address Collection & Printing
This feature is ABSOLUTELY GENIUS. What you do is basically send out your own private link via social media, email, or text, and then your family and friends fill out their address and it is stored with Basic Invite (securely, don’t worry! This is directly off their site: “WE KEEP YOUR DATA PRIVATE We will never sell, use, or touch your data. Ever. Shared addresses are visible only to you, and are kept completely private.”). After that, you can print your guest and return addresses for free and with beautifully curated fonts! Friends, I am literally sold on this. I could have skipped the 3 hour addressing party..
Beautiful Invitation Suites
If you guys want a gorgeous suite with a very decent price tag, Basic Invite is a great place to create your wedding invitation packages. There is 180 different colors to customize each element of the suite design of your choice as well as 40 different envelope colors and over 900 designs to pick from. There really is a design / theme for every wedding out there. The ones I chose to photograph are a little bit more simple and / or modern just because stylistically I lean towards more minimal designs, but they have some really stunning ones that include different graphics such as woodsy pine cones, watercolor pine trees, florals, etc. You can also order a sample of your customized invitation and enclosure cards before you place your final order to make sure you like how everything looks and can see the paper quality for yourself. They not only have your main invitation but all the enclosure cards you might need such as directions, hotel, RSVP, details, place cards, menu cards, etc..
Seal & Send Invitations
I had no clue this was a thing, but Basic Invite offers seal and send invites which are basically more of a postcard style Invitation in a sense. With these, you use the address collection service to have the addresses printed right onto the invite, fold it, and seal it with a sticker! They currently have 30 designs for this option and it comes with a tear off RSVP postcard. These are for the Bride who wants a stylish but simple invite and doesn’t care as much for the multiple piece invite suite approach and look.
Thank You Cards
Thank You Cards are a simple yet thoughtful way to show love and appreciation for all of the guests who were such an important part of your big day. You can order Thank You’s easily after your wedding that, again, are cohesive and stunning alongside the rest of your wedding invitation package.
