Personal Tales: Family Thanksgiving in Paso Robles, California
Boy oh boy have these images been on the back burner. I’ve actually been meaning to edit these for about a year and a half.. personal work a lot of the time becomes second priority when I’m drowning in editing weddings and portrait sessions which is unfortunate, because then my jpegs might die jpegs. As Jonathan Canlas always says, “Don’t let your jpegs grow up to be jpegs”. (aka, print your work). I need to order some photo books soon telling the tales of different seasons and events of my life. This particular Thanksgiving was really a special one. We went down to Paso Robles, California (Which is near San Luis Obispo) to visit with my dad’s side. My now husband was with us and he met a bunch of my family for the first time. My sister’s now fiance, Brandon, was also with us and they had only been dating for about 6 months at the time. It’s always a treat to visit with family and get to feel and experience the California sunshine.
My dad and both of his brothers all got some antique guns that belonged to their dad. He died of cancer quite a few years ago and they were all pretty surprised with this gift.
